Islam comes from the word “al-silm” and “istaslama” which means peace and surrender. The word “Islam” means “submission to the will of God.” And we the followers of Islam are known as Muslims. Muslims worship one all-knowing God in Arabic “Allah” *The Qur'an refers to Allah as the Lord of the Worlds. “He is Allah, the Creator, the Inventor, the Fashioner; to Him belong the best names. Whatever is in the heavens and earth is exalting Him. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.”
